FirstLocal Studio operates the website at firstlocal.studio and sells browser-based productivity tools. Our contact email is hello@firstlocal.studio.

2. What we do not collect

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or analytics service. We do not run ads. We do not build profiles on visitors. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes.

Specifically, we do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any personal identifier unless you provide it voluntarily
• Your browsing behaviour, clicks, or time on page
• Your IP address for tracking purposes
• Any files you process using our tools — all file processing happens entirely in your browser
• Device information beyond what your browser sends in a standard HTTP request

3. How our tools work

Every tool sold at firstlocal.studio is a standalone HTML file that runs entirely in your browser using local JavaScript. When you use LocalPDF, ClauseGuard, Creator Blueprint, or any other FirstLocal tool:

• Your files, documents, and data never leave your device
• No data is sent to our servers or any external server
• No cloud processing occurs — all computation happens on your machine
• We have no technical ability to access anything you do inside the tool

4. Purchases via Gumroad

We currently process all purchases through Gumroad. When you make a purchase, Gumroad collects and processes your payment information, email address, and transaction details. This data is subject to Gumroad’s Privacy Policy, not ours.

We receive only what Gumroad shares with us as the seller — typically your email address, the product purchased, and the transaction date. We use this information solely to fulfil your order and respond to support requests.

We do not store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled entirely by Gumroad.

5. Newsletter and email

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address for the purpose of sending product updates, new tool announcements, and occasional tutorial notifications. We do not send marketing emails to people who haven’t opted in.

• You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send
• We do not share your email address with third parties
• We do not send your email to advertising platforms

6. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Our website may use a minimal session cookie for basic WordPress functionality (such as remembering if you are logged in as an admin). We do not use cookies for analytics, retargeting, or any form of user tracking.

7. Third-party links

Our website contains links to third-party sites including Gumroad and others. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

8. Data retention

We retain purchase records (provided by Gumroad) for as long as necessary to fulfil support and refund requests. If you subscribed to our newsletter and request removal, we will delete your email address from our list promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy — for example, if we begin using an analytics service or change our payment processor — we will update the effective date at the top of this page and note what changed. We will not reduce your privacy protections without giving you notice.
